About Us
JR Transport Ltd was founded in 1994 by Darren Doak, a long-time Squamish resident. Originally owned by Jack Rempel, JR Transport has hauled thousands of loads out of the Elaho Valley (British-Columbia).
Our company owns a fleet that fluctuates between 5 and 12 trucks. We are known for hiring drivers with impeccable records, and for investing in good equipment.
We deal mainly in log loading and log hauling; raw logs, poles, and occasionally bridge stringers and culverts.
We mainly serve the lower mainland, Sea-to-Sky area and any other places in B.C. that we are contracted to haul logs to or from.
